Renewal in Turnstile is a manual action that creates a new subscription record for the next contract term. This is different from auto-renew, which automatically extends an existing subscription when its end date passes.
Subscriptions can be renewed with or without requiring a customer signature, and each subscription can only be renewed once. After a renewal is created, the renew button will be grayed out for the original subscription.
If you need to extend the dates of your active subscription before renewing, amend the active subscription. Renewal dates cannot overlap with an active subscription.
