Overview
Sending a quote is the final step in the quoting process, enabling sales teams to share a quote with prospects for review and acceptance. Turnstile supports two delivery options: an E-Signature flow in which both parties sign the quote to close the deal or a Checkout Page in which prospects accept the quote to close the deal. You also have the option to download your quote as a PDF by and send it directly to your prospect.
This guide will walk through the review and send quote workflow to ensure a smooth and secure transaction.
Review and Send Quote Workflow
To begin the reviewing process, click Review And Send in the top right corner. This will bring you to the Review Quote workflow. There are 3 steps to the Review Quote workflow:
1. Review billing
2. Set up quote delivery
3. Review quote
Step 1: Review billing
In this step, you will be able to review the billing terms set on the quote you created. Let’s go section by section:
Billing frequency defines how often your customer will be billed for the products/services outlined in the quote. Your options are monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual.
Invoice generation determines what date invoice creation is based on. Your options are “based on service start date” and “on the first of each month”
Note: If you choose “on the first of each month” the first invoice may have an adjusted total based on the number of days left in the billing period upon agreement
Service Start Date is when your customer will have access to the products/services outlined in the quote and will serve as the beginning of the billing period.
Note: If you selected “upon agreement” for your service date in the quote, the service start date will show empty
Invoice Provider determines where invoices will be issued from. Your options are manual, Turnstile and Stripe. Each invoice provider will have their own set of configurations you can toggle on or off:
Manual
Manual
Your team is responsible for manually issuing and managing all invoices
“Requires Review Stage” will require mandatory manual approval before issuing for each invoice if toggled on. If toggled off, invoices will not require approval before they are able to be issued. This is toggled on by default.
Turnstile

Turnstile’s invoicing system will issue and manage invoices on your behalf
“Requires Review Stage” will require mandatory manual approval before issuing for each invoice if toggled on. If toggled off, invoices will not require approval before they are able to be issued. This is toggled on by default.
“Automatically issue” if toggled on, this will allow Turnstile to auto-issue invoices to your customer on the projected issue date. If toggled off, invoices will need to be manually sent.
Stripe (requires integration)
Stripe (requires integration)
Turnstile will send and manage invoices in your Stripe account on your behalf
“Requires Review Stage” will require mandatory manual approval before issuing for each invoice if toggled on. If toggled off, invoices will not require approval before they are able to be issued. This is toggled on by default.
“Automatically issue” if toggled on, this will allow Stripe to auto-issue invoices to your customer on the projected issue date. If toggled off, invoices will need to be manually sent.
“Automatically charge” if toggled on, Stripe will attempt to charge your customer upon invoice issue if they have a payment method on file. If toggled off, the customer will need to initiate payment upon being issued an invoice.
“Credit or debit card” if toggled on, your customers will be allowed to pay for invoices with a credit or debit card. If toggled off, your customers will not be allowed to pay for invoices with a credit or debit card.
“Bank direct debit” if toggled on, your customers will be allowed to pay for invoices with ACH (USD) or SEPA (Euro) direct debit. If toggled off, your customers will not be allowed to pay for invoices with direct debit.
Billing contact information is where you choose where invoices and receipts for your customer are sent. This information also populates the "Bill to" section of all invoices for your customer with their company name, billing email, and billing address.
On the right side of the page, you will be able to preview the invoice schedule your customer will be billed on. If you make changes to the billing period, service start date, or invoice generation, this will automatically reflect in the invoice schedule.
Step 2: Set up quote for delivery
In this step, you will be choosing if your quote will be accepted via E-Signature or Checkout Page. Then you will select the delivery method as either Send Email or Share Link.

Recipient Reviews and Signs the Quote (E-Signature Quotes)
Once the recipient opens the email, they can view the quote and complete the signing process online. The remaining signer will be notified if the other party has signed over email, so that they can finish the signing process. After both parties have signed, each will automatically receive a finalized copy of the signed quote.
Note: If you need to resend the e-signature link to a customer, click "Copy customer signature link" at the top of the sent quote page.
Editing a Sent Quote
If you need to make a change to a sent quote, you can Retract quote to make changes. This will temporarily prevent any signing actions from taking place. Once changes are complete, you can resend the quote and optionally send another email notification. The link to the quote will not change so the user can sign from the existing link to the quote.
Configure Your Signing Experience
You can customize your signing process by visiting the eSign Email Settings page in your account settings. This optional configuration allows you to tailor the experience to your brand and workflow.
