Editing invoice settings for subscriptions

Overview

In this article, we will discuss how to edit invoice settings for one or multiple subscriptions in Turnstile. The new invoice settings will apply to all upcoming invoices in draft for the selected subscription(s). There are 3 steps to this workflow:

1. Select subscriptions

2. Invoice settings

3. Confirm changes

On the customer page at the top of the invoices section, click Edit invoice settings.

1. Select subscriptions

After clicking Edit invoice settings, the edit invoice settings workflow window will open. In the first step, you will select one or multiple subscriptions the new invoice settings will apply to. On this step you will be able to review the current invoice settings.

Once you've made your subscription selection, click Next: Invoice settings in the bottom right of the window to move to the next step.

2. Invoice Settings

After selecting the subscriptions, you will make your invoice settings changes. In this step, you can select a different invoice provider, how your invoices are sent and payment configurations from the appropriate dropdown. When you make a selection a blue "Changed" badge will appear beside the setting.

Once you've chosen your new invoice settings, click Next: Confirm changes.

3. Confirm Changes

The final step in the edit invoice settings workflow is reviewing and confirming the changes you have made. On this step, you will review the invoice settings updates you selected. The changes will be displayed with a blue "Updated" badge and a dot in the settings cell.

Once you've reviewed and confirmed your new invoice settings, click Save changes. The new invoice settings will be reflected in the draft invoices on the customer page.

Editing Invoice Settings in Bulk

If you need to edit invoice settings across multiple customer subscriptions, use the side navigation bar and go to Settings -> Edit invoice settings on existing subscriptions. From this page, you can either manually check each subscription you'd like to update by clicking the checkbox to the left or you can update all subscriptions by toggling on Update all existing subscriptions at the top left of the page.

Once you have made your subscription selections, you will update the invoice settings as outlined in step two and step three above.
