Getting started path: Bring in existing customers

This path is for you if you have customers already on active contracts outside Turnstile and want to get them into the system. Focus on getting your existing customers into Turnstile first; catalog setup and quoting can wait.

  1. Connect your integrations: CRM and Stripe, in particular, will affect how subscriptions and invoices are managed.

  2. Configure your account: Billing entity and invoice settings are especially important before creating subscriptions.

  3. Add existing customers: Use AI import or manual entry to bring in your contracts.

  4. Manage your invoices: Once subscriptions are active, get familiar with the invoice workflow.

  5. Use the customer page: Your ongoing view of each customer's billing status.
