Inviting, removing, and managing users

How to invite and manage Turnstile teammates

To manage your team in Turnstile, click Team in the sidebar. On the Team page, you can add and delete users and update their permissions. Only Admins can invite and edit users.

User permissions in Turnstile

Turnstile has two levels of user permissions, Admin and Standard.

  • Admin users can see and do everything in the account.

  • Standard users cannot manage teammates (invite, remove, edit permissions), but they can see and do everything else in the account.

Add users

To invite a teammate to your Turnstile account, you can either share a magic link or invite them via email. Only users with Admin permissions can invite new users to the account.

Share magic link

To share a magic link with a user to invite them to your account,

  1. Head to Team.

  2. Click the Share icon (three connected dots) in the top right of the page.

  3. Copy the link from the pop-up window and share it with your teammate.

When the user opens the link, they will be prompted to log in.

Invite via email

To send an email invitation to join the account:

  1. Head to Team.

  2. Click the + icon and input an email address.

  3. Choose whether or not to invite the user as an Admin.

    • If you do not invite a person as an Admin, they will have Standard permissions.

  4. Click Send invite.

Your teammate will then receive an emailed invitation from no-reply@tryturnstile.com.

Note: Due to the sensitive nature of the financial data in your Turnstile account, we only support signing in with SSO (via Google or Microsoft). Any person who needs access to your account is required to sign in with an email address using your company's domain.

Resend an invitation

Admins can resend an invitation to a user who has not yet signed in by taking the following steps:

  2. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right of their name and select Resend invite.

  3. Confirm permissions and click Resend invite.

Revoke an invitation

  1. Head to Team.

  2. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right of their name and select Revoke invite.

  3. Confirm by clicking Revoke invite.

Edit user permissions

Only Admins can edit a user's permissions. To edit a teammate's permission level:

  1. Head to Team and hover over the teammate you'd like to update.

  2. Click the 3 vertical dots to the right of their name and select Edit permissions.

  3. Change the role to Standard or Admin and click Save.
