Turnstile MCP: Use cases and prompts

Ready-to-use prompts for querying your Turnstile invoices, subscriptions, and customers through an AI assistant

Explore ready-to-use prompts you can paste directly into Claude or another AI assistant connected to Turnstile. These prompts use read-only access, meaning they surface information without making changes to your account.

Note: AI-generated responses may not always be complete or accurate. Learn more about AI-generated results in Turnstile.

Tips for best results when using the Turnstile MCP

  • Name the customer. Prompts that include a specific customer name return faster, more accurate results than asking about invoices or subscriptions in general.

  • Be specific about what you want to see. "Show me open invoices" is more useful than "show me invoices."

  • For long lists, ask for all results. By default, some AI tools return the first page of results. If you expect more, add "get all of them" or "don't stop at the first page" to your prompt.

  • Combine sources. Your AI tool can pull invoice and subscription data together in one response. This can be useful before a call or renewal conversation.

  • Ask follow-up questions. If the first response is not quite right, describe what is missing and ask your AI tool to refine it.

  • Results may vary by tool. The prompts below work with any AI tool connected to Turnstile, but how results are formatted and paginated may differ depending on which tool you are using.
