The Accounting tab turns new invoices, payments, and Stripe payouts into Journal Entries in Turnstile. You can export the report or sync to your accounting system. You can find this page by going to Reporting > Accounting. You can use filters (date range, customer) to narrow results.
Ledger / Journal Entries
Turnstile creates Journal Entries from:
Invoices
Payments
Stripe payouts
Each Journal Entry includes line-item detail, to ensure the accounting output matches what happened in Turnstile.
Syncs and Exports
You have two options for using your accounting data: export as CSV or sync to an accounting tool via integrations.
Export as CSV
Go to Reporting > Accounting.
Select one or more entries.
Click Export to CSV.
Download the CSV package.
The export will be a zip file with two CSV files: 1) a list of customers 2) a list of Journal Entries.
Sync with QuickBooks
By integrating Turnstile with QuickBooks Online, you can map accounts and sync Turnstile Journal Entries. See this article for configuration steps.
